Flexible Sigmoidoscopy in Somerville, NJ
Our Hillsborough location and surgical center is where most of our procedures are performed, but at our Somerville location, we primarily focus on hemorrhoidal banding and flexible sigmoidoscopy. During a hemorrhoidal banding procedure, we cut off the hemorrhoid’s blood supply with medical-grade rubber bands using the CRH O’Regan System. A flexible sigmoidoscopy makes it possible for a physician to see what’s happening inside the descending colon and rectum. It is often performed to identify the cause of chronic constipation, diarrhea, or abdominal pain. In addition to these services, we also offer telemedicine appointments, which allow you to have a video call with one of our physicians to discuss symptoms, follow-up after a procedure, or get a prescription refill.
